From the kingdom of darkness into the Kingdom of God, how?
The first humans, Adam and Eve, received part of God's Kingdom in possession. God said to them: "And God blessed them, and God said to them: “Be fruitful and become many, fill the earth and subdue it; and have in subjection the fish of the sea and the flying creatures of the heavens and every living creature that is moving on the earth"".- Genesis 1:28. When they sinned and came under the authority of the devil, they came under his subjection because they listened to him (Romans 6:16). Not only they lost the paradise, Eden, but the devil got hold of what they possessed: authority over the world!
Therefore, the Lord Jesus called Satan: "the ruler of this world" (John 12:31)!
All who are being born in this world, are being born under the authority of the wicked one! The Bible says that the whole world is lying in the wicked one (1 John 5:19). All people obey the ruler of the authority of the air, the Satan, and are led by evil spirits, which are using selfish and opposing to God's law desires to make people slaves of Satan (Ephesians 2:1-4)!
People have no power to free themselves from the wicked one, neither to do good in the way required by God. What is the solution? How can someone be transferred from the kingdom of darkness in which he was born, from the authority of the devil, into Christ's Kingdom?
We need to know that the Lord Jesus Christ also has a kingdom on the earth, not just the wicked one!
Christ's Kingdom is made up of His servants who obey Him! But none of them would have the power to obey the Lord, if they had not been born again!
When a man is born of his mother, he is born in the kingdom of darkness! For that man to be transferred from the kingdom of evil into the Kingdom of God, he needs to be born one more time!
A teacher of Israel asked Jesus: "How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter into the womb of his mother a second time and be born? "- John 3:4. The Lord Jesus replied: "Most truly I say to you, unless anyone is born from water and Spirit, he cannot enter into the Kingdom of God. What has been born from the flesh is flesh, and what has been born from the Spirit is spirit. Do not be amazed because I told you: You must be born again." - John 3:5-7.
So, it is necessary for people to be born into the Kingdom of God, in order to be transferred into the kingdom of light.
Dear reader, were you born again? If not, then you are dead in your trespasses and sins, you are lost, being a son of darkness, the Satan's servant. No matter how hard you try to do good, you will not make it. You're like a wild tree trying to make good fruits, but the tree still remains wild! Only a well-bred tree, which from wild became a fruit-bearing tree, can make grafted fruits, because it was grafted first! So a man must receive the Spirit of Christ first, to do the works of Christ!
This transfer from darkness to light implies death towards the sin, the world, the Satan, but resurrection in Christ for God!
The Lord Jesus invites us to become His disciples, but this can be done only through: self-denial and taking the cross, that is, obeying Him, even when this implies suffering and sacrifice, and do His works; water baptism in His name, by which you die towards the sin and rise up with Him to a life lived for God, not for yourself and the master of this world (Romans 6.2-11)!
Through baptism, the man is born again and receives a new life: the Holy Spirit! He is transferred from this evildoing generation into the dimension of God's Kingdom, by experiencing peace, joy and justice in the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 2:6-10; Colossians 1:13-14; 2: 11-12; Galatians 1: 4; Romans 14:17).
But only after the person begins to realize that he is a sinner, lost, a son of Satan, ruled by lust and demons which made him to sin, thus, being disgusted with his state, with the misery in his life; wishes that pure and holy life, wants to enter into the Kingdom of God already, then he enters it, by humbly listening to Jesus command of being baptized (John 4:1,2).
